Implementation Timelines
Implementation Timelines for Healthcare Providers
Under the Health Information Act, licensed healthcare service providers will need to contribute key health information to the National Electronic Health Record (NEHR) and comply with cybersecurity and data security requirements. The implementation timelines will be phased as shown below, to enable patients to benefit from the data sharing and security measures as soon as possible, while taking into consideration the varying levels of readiness of the different sectors and complexity of the data types to be contributed.
